Job Description:
Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Receptionist and Customer Service Representative at Mitchell Equipment Corporation, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers and guests.
Your role will be diverse and encompass various responsibilities, including front desk reception duties, phone handling, assisting customers with parts pricing inquiries, calculating costing for parts, and providing support to the bookkeeping department with light accounting tasks.
Key
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Receptionist:
Welcome and greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
Handle customer inquiries and provide information about our products and services.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing office supplies.
Customer Service Representative:
Record customer requests for parts pricing and product information.
Calculate costing for parts based on company pricing guidelines.
Prepare and provide accurate quotes to customers.
Ensure timely and courteous follow-up with customers to answer questions and address concerns.
Maintain customer records and communication history in our CRM system.
Accounting Support:
Assist the bookkeeper with light accounting duties, such as data entry and invoice processing.
Reconcile financial transactions and assist in the preparation of financial reports.
Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or accounting is a plus.
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using office software and basic accounting software (e.
g.
, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
