1K a year ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Represents the Credit Union in a courteous and professional manner.
Operates on-line teller terminal to perform various transactions; cash handling such as deposits and withdrawals, depositing/cashing checks and making loan payments.
Processes cash advances, cashiers' checks, money orders, government bonds, and similar transactions.
Opens and closes accounts daily.
Processes assigned cash and transactions and balances at end of day.
Verifies transactions.
Monitors deposit amounts and examines documents for endorsement and negotiability.
Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly.
Ensures that members' requests and questions are promptly resolved.
Performs research as needed.
Is familiar with all of the Credit Union's products and services.
Actively suggests products/services of the Credit Union or refers members to appropriate departments to help meet members' financial needs.
Maintains confidentiality and security of member account information.
Maintains security of assigned cash and cash items.
Performs drive-up teller and night drop functions as assigned.
Balances ATM daily as assigned.
Tracks sales for MSR incentive program.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
