Axis Engineering is dedicated to designing and developing assembly solutions, metal forming and inspection fixtures.
As a General Laborer, you will operate machines, presses, weld equipment you will receive, verify, issue, and accurately maintain the inventory of all tools, equipment and build material supplies.
Lifts metal part or stock onto machine and secures it on machine table, in chuck, or holding fixture.
Performs manual bench-type tasks such as sawing, filing, grinding, Milling, Drilling, painting, etc.
Removes burrs and excess metal from machined parts.
Inspects parts, components, visually for quality defects such as scrap marks, rust, burrs, etc.
Delivers metal parts or stock to designated work areas for machining.
Inspects and ensures parts, components, and assemblies meet specifications.
Labels and/or tag parts and baskets.
Make deliveries or pick-ups when needed.
Collect or distribute heat treat items.
Must have a valid driver's license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
